Supporting high quality sustainable growth in England

Awards Sponsored

English Partnerships are sponsoring the following events in 2007/2008. We also sponsor a number of conferences and exhibitions aimed at promoting best practice within regeneration.

BURA Awards for Best Practice in Regeneration 2008

November/December 2008

The awards, established in 1992, define excellence in regeneration. The rigorous assessment process carried out by a panel of senior built environment professionals is combined with BURA’s commitment to inspire and guide the evolution of regeneration, assuring that the promotion of best practice remains at the heart of these prestigious awards.

English Partnerships is one of the key government organisations joining together to support the awards and encourage a greater number, quality and diversity of entries.

Robert Napier, Chairman of English Partnerships said: “We believe that good regeneration should not only benefit people living today, but should also support future generations. This can only be achieved by creating sustainable communities, with long-lasting environmentally friendly homes, where people want to live and can afford to live. We are therefore proud sponsors of the BURA awards again as we feel that they continue to recognise and encourage the very best practice and excellence in regeneration – I look forward to seeing the 2008 entries.”

The closing date for submitting an entry to these awards is Friday 6 June 2008. Projects large and small, from any sector can submit an entry.
