Brodsworth Woodlands in Doncaster is a former coalfield site which has been nominated for the Carbon Challenge by the Regional Development Agency –  Renaissance South Yorkshire,Yorkshire Forward.

Its objective is to raise the environmental performance of new communities while still delivering quality and high standards of design.  

 


Around 500 new homes will be created alongside 13,500 sq m of environmentally sustainable commercial space to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard on this 19.5ha site.

Procurement

The Brodsworth site is being made available through an OJEU Competitive Dialogue Process. Following receipt of expressions of interest, shortlisted bidders have now commenced stage 2 with detailed bids expected in September 2008.
