We want to help maintain the momentum of house building by offering developers more flexible ways of working with us through the sale of smaller sites.  These are the range of sites that we will be marketing.

Eastern England & Milton Keynes

Site name Details

Sites A & D Hindhead Knoll, Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes

Site of 0.86 ha of undeveloped land with outline planning for 42 homes 12 of which are to be affordable.

 

Marketing to take place in Autumn 2008.

Westcroft 16, Milton Keynes

Development of site will deliver 67 homes.

 

Currently being marketed (advertised on 4 July 2008).

Area A Puny Drain, King's Lynn

Following the diversion of Puny Drain and in filling of the redundant land drain part of the reclaimed site (3 acres) will be released for development of 80 homes.

 

Site unlikely to be marketed until 2009.

Clay Lane, Peterborough

A development that should be released this year to deliver a 30 unit scheme adjacent to English Partnerships' land holdings at Castor.

Swimming Pool Site, Harlow

A local authority owned site English Partnerships is assisting with.

 

The site will be released on to the market this year and should deliver circa 100 homes.

London & Thames Gateway

Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Tower Hamlets

This site will deliver approximately 130 homes, of which up to 50% will be affordable and 25% will be family homes, comprising three, four and five bedroom homes. The development will include a health care facility.

 

This site will be taken to the market in Autumn 2008.

St Clements Hospital, Tower Hamlets

 

This site will deliver approximately 220 homes of which up to 50% will be affordable homes and 25% will be family homes comprising three, four and five bedroom homes. The potential exists for the site to be split into smaller parcels and there may be a requirement to deliver a healthcare facility on the site.

 

This site will be taken to the market in the first quarter of 2009 (calendar year).

Erith Western Gateway

 

Erith Western Gateway refers to a combination of small sites in fragmented ownership adjoining the town centre. In total the project has the potential to deliver a mixed use development including 750+ homes.

 

Site opportunities of between 15 - 150 homes may be available, but are not likely to be marketed until 2009.

Southern England

Connaught Barracks, Dover

 

Former MoD site of 54 ha of which 12.7 ha is developable.

 

English Partnerships is working closely with key partners to explore the possibility of breaking the site up in to smaller parcels (say 5 blocks of 100 units) for development to deliver a minimum of 500 homes.

 

Site likely to be marketed in Spring 2009.

Roussillon Barracks, Chichester

Former MoD site of 11 ha.

 

English Partnerships is working closely with key partners to explore the possibility of breaking the site in to smaller parcels for development to deliver a total of 350 homes.

 

This site has already been marketed.

North West & West Midlands
